What is your definition of freedom, is it that you have an abundance of money and don’t need to work full-time? is it that you have an amazing career or profession that you love and can choose your hours? is it that you have the choice to do things with your kids if and when it suits you because you don’t need to work? Or is it that you just have an amazing life that you live on your terms??
Freedom most definitely does not mean you then have no responsibilities, it doesn’t mean we can indulge in whatever we want whenever we want and be cruel to others around us, take whatever we want purely because it would be fun a pleasurable in the moment.
Freedom requires responsibility to choose who we are above and beyond our immediate impulses, need and social pressure, so that we can genuinely express the type of person we truly want to be, live the life we truly want to live and leave the legacy we desire.
I love Brendan Burchard’s book called the “Motivation Manifesto” which is the 9 Declarations to claim your personal power…..its a very inspiring book and such an eye opener.
The video below is me reading the section in the book that talks about true freedom.
You can get Brendan’s book for free sometimes through his website and packages, keep an eye out for it, you wont be disappointed.
